Hard Chrome Plating
A modern protective coating that makes the blade surface very hard and resistant to rust and resin buildup. It extends blade life and keeps cutting performance high for professional use.
Impulse-Hardening
The teeth are hardened with a quick, high‑frequency heat treatment so they stay sharp up to three times longer than normal teeth. These blades cut very fast and clean but generally cannot be resharpened and are replaced when dull.
Fluorine Coating
A slick surface treatment that stops sap and resin from sticking to the blade. It makes cutting smoother, reduces effort, and helps the saw stay cleaner for longer, especially in green or sticky wood.
Replaceable Blade System
The blade can be removed and replaced when dull or damaged, usually via a simple screw or click‑in mechanism. This lets you keep the same handle while swapping blades for different tasks or renewed sharpness.
Two-Position Blade Lock (Folding Saws)
A folding mechanism that locks the blade in two different cutting positions. The second position is usually angled for flush cuts or working in tight spots while keeping your knuckles away from the work.
Rubber Handle
A standard rubber grip that is comfortable, reduces vibration, and stays grippy when your hands are wet or cold. It’s a good all‑round choice for general use.
Intermediate Handle
A handle shape that sits between a straight grip and a revolver grip. It offers good control while keeping the wrist in a comfortable, natural position.
