More Details
Depending on the type of cut you would like to make, you can choose to cut with fine teeth with 1.0mm teeth pitch or coarse teeth with 1.3mm pitch. Ideal for cutting small things. The blade is only 0.3mm thick and is flexible. You can stabilize the saw by putting the handle on the material you are cutting. You can cut dowels this way. Since the handle is made of wood, it will not leave any damage or marks on the material.
For precision woodworking, bamboo crafts, carpentry work, making furnitures and musical instruments.
- Blade length: 125mm
- Blade thickness: 0.3mm
- Cutting width: 0.3mm
- Teeth pitch: 1.0mm
Non-Set Teeth
The teeth sit within the blade’s thickness instead of being bent outward like many Western saws. Combined with a taper ground blade, this gives very smooth, fast cuts with minimal waste and a very clean surface.
Impulse-Hardening
The teeth are hardened with a quick, high‑frequency heat treatment so they stay sharp up to three times longer than normal teeth. These blades cut very fast and clean but generally cannot be resharpened and are replaced when dull.
Electroless Nickel Plating
A thin but extremely durable nickel coating that covers the entire blade, including the teeth. It greatly improves wear resistance, slows rust, and helps prevent sap from sticking, so cuts stay smooth and easy.
Straight Handle
A simple, straight handle that lets you fine‑tune control by moving your hand closer to or farther from the blade. Closer gives more precision, farther gives more power.
Hijirime
A special tooth pattern where some teeth are slightly shorter than others so they don’t cut but act as tiny cleaners. This staggered height helps clear sawdust from the kerf, reduces cutting resistance, and improves overall cutting quality, especially for fine crosscuts and rip cuts.
