More Details
TPE resin is used for the entire grip. A grip that does not slip no matter where you hold it. A design that uses traditional Japanese SEIGAIHAMON pattern, therefore you will never get tired during cutting. 0.3mm thin blade. Ideal for intricate work. The blade is firmly attached to the handle with a full back metal.
Use
For precision woodworking, bamboo crafts, carpentry work, furniture-making, and musical instruments.
Materials
General timber, Laminated wood, Bamboo material, Ply wood, MDF panel, Particle board (OSB), and Formica laminate
Blade Length: 240mm
Blade Thickness: 0.3mm
Cutting Width: .46mm
Teeth Pitch: 1.0mm
Rigid Spine/Back (Douzuki Style)
A stiff metal back along the top of the blade that keeps thin blades from flexing. It allows for very thin, accurate blades ideal for precise cuts, though it limits how deep you can cut.
TPE Handle (Thermoplastic Elastomer)
A modern synthetic handle with a soft, grippy surface that stays secure in wet or dry hands. It combines firmness with slight flexibility for comfort and often features traditional Japanese patterns for extra grip.
Hijirime
A special tooth pattern where some teeth are slightly shorter than others so they don’t cut but act as tiny cleaners. This staggered height helps clear sawdust from the kerf, reduces cutting resistance, and improves overall cutting quality, especially for fine crosscuts and rip cuts.
Replaceable Blade System
The blade can be removed and replaced when dull or damaged, usually via a simple screw or click‑in mechanism. This lets you keep the same handle while swapping blades for different tasks or renewed sharpness.
Straight Handle
A simple, straight handle that lets you fine‑tune control by moving your hand closer to or farther from the blade. Closer gives more precision, farther gives more power.
