The Tsurugi Curved Hand Saw takes the unique Tsurugi design and tweaks the blade shape for a more aggressive cut when reaching above shoulder height. The Tsurugi’s slim blade can easily fit into tight crotches without damage to opposing limbs due to its slender frame, and the Silky impulse-hardened, chrome plated teeth stay sharp longer than any other brand of saw. The comfortable 2-part rubber grip is curved to provide the optimal grip for arborists, and blade swapping between different tooth sizes.

Non-Set Teeth
The teeth sit within the blade’s thickness instead of being bent outward like many Western saws. Combined with a taper ground blade, this gives very smooth, fast cuts with minimal waste and a very clean surface.
Mirai-Me (4 Cutting Angles)
A special tooth design with four cutting angles that lets one saw handle rip cuts, crosscuts, and slant cuts. It leaves an exceptionally smooth surface that often needs little or no sanding.
Impulse-Hardening
The teeth are hardened with a quick, high‑frequency heat treatment so they stay sharp up to three times longer than normal teeth. These blades cut very fast and clean but generally cannot be resharpened and are replaced when dull.
Hard Chrome Plating
A modern protective coating that makes the blade surface very hard and resistant to rust and resin buildup. It extends blade life and keeps cutting performance high for professional use.
Genki Grip
